I stand for you, the community, and I'm inviting you to be part of the conversation.
As we get closer to the election, I’ll be announcing policies and priorities for the campaign, but to get there, I need to hear from you.
At the same time, I understand you need to know more about me and what I stand for to be part of this. So here are the values I stand for.
Community first
When I'm out speaking to people, its clear to me that the community isn’t disengaged and disinterested as we often hear.
We care deeply about the challenges we’re facing together, and what I see more and more, is that community hasn’t been a part of the conversation.
That’s why its so important to me that I hear from you, and that we shape our campaign platform together.
Free from party politics
My party room is you – the community. I will stand on the issues the community wants me to stand on, and if elected, I’ll vote how I believe the community wants me to vote. I don’t need permission from a party to do that.
Free from vested interests
I’m not accepting donations from any vested interest group, so I am free from the conflict of interest that creates.
In the coming weeks, all donations I receive will be listed on this website.
Grounded in evidence
I'm committed to evidence-based policy for our community. I'll draw on my 14 years of experience as a government economist to find long-term, practical solutions to the issues we all face – solutions that are backed by research and backed by you.
Serving with honesty, integrity and in your best interests
My commitment is simple: decisions will be guided by integrity, accountability, evidence and you, the community.
You'll know where I stand, why I voted the way I did, and I'll always put this community first—donors, factions and parties will not be a factor – because that's the standard you deserve from your representatives.
