Croydon district

Is an outer metropolitan electorate approximately 32 kilometres east of Melbourne. It is primarily located within Maroondah City Council boundaries.

Situated on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the Croydon district comprises the suburbs of Croydon, Croydon Hills, Croydon North, Croydon South, Bayswater North and Kilsyth South. It also takes in parts of Kilsyth, Mooroolbark and Wonga Park.

The district is known for its leafy neighbourhoods, open green spaces with parks, trails and community facilities throughout the area. Local attractions include natural bushland reserves such as Warrien Reserve, Hochkins Ridge Flora Reserve and the Yarra River corridor, as well as Tarralla Wetlands. Home to a growing and diverse community, it is a gateway location to the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges.

If you're unsure whether you live in Croydon district, you can check on the Victorian Electoral Commission's (VEC's) website.

We respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, as the Traditional Owners of the land now known as the state district of Croydon.

We recognise their enduring, continued connection to land, sea, sky and community, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to the courage, wisdom and resilience of Elders past, present and emerging.
